Ombak Rindu~

Last Saturday, I went to Pavilion with my family purposely to watch Ombak Rindu. I didn't expect anything from the movie since I haven't read the novel.

Ombak Rindu is about Izzah, a kampung girl who have been sent to Kuala Lumpur by her uncle to become a prostitute and finally was bought by Hariz. She insisted to be his wife and they then got married and finally they fell in love with each other. This movie becomes more complicated with the presence of Mila, Hariz's childhood sweetheart who has had a cruch on Hariz since she was small and that they were supposed to get married!

I think that's enough for the synopsis. If you want to know more, go and grab the novel or watch the movie :)

Well, basically, Maya did a great job being Izzah. I myself couldn't resist myself from crying. I just can't get over Maya's expression throughout the movie, she was really feeling it. Besides, Hariz and Mila's characters were played well too.

This is a two hour movie that makes you appreciate people that you love and care. Somehow, it did give an impact to the audience. The purity of love, the loyalty of a man who willing to change just because of a woman whom he never thought he'd meet and never crossed his mind that he will ever fall too deep in love with her.

Stand up for love, fight for love, cry for love, forgive for love, accept for love, change for love. All were done for love. This movie has made me realize that besides prayers to Him, patience and sacrifices are truly important in love.

Go and watch it. Worth all the tears, as I personally think.

end of a journey~

1st December 2011, served as the last day of me being a teacher trainee. My journey to the 1st December started 5 and half years ago when I decided to join the TESL course in IPBA. It's a long journey. A very long journey with hard work, stressful days, as well as happiness. A journey that has made me more independent when I was far away from my family and tougher to endure hardship. It's also a journey where I met amazing people. People that have taught me the meaning of love and friendship. Yes, indeed, it's such a meaningful journey and I am glad to be part of it. And now, with perseverance, support from family and friends, and blessing from Allah, I finally come to the end of the journey. I know, I will miss this journey. I will miss those people that I have met. I will miss those things that I have done throughout this journey. But one thing for sure, all the wonderful memories of this journey will always be remembered.
