~Second School Visit~

- I met my cooperative teacher, Mrs. G for the first time as she was not in school on my last visit. Luckily, she is a nice and supportive teacher.

- The kids seemed to be more friendly with me. Had fun with the kids when I was helping them to complete their tasks and while chatting with them during their morning tea :)

~Tangalooma's Whale Watch Cruise~

It was a memorable experience. We had a quite long journey, but for me, it was exciting as I enjoyed boarding the cruise and looking at the spectacular views even though the weather was extremely hot.

Half way through the journey, we stopped at Tangalooma Moreton Island Resort. Even just for a while, we still had chance to take some pictures =)

The journey continued and we boarded the same cruise. We needed to wait patiently until the whales appeared. The most interesting part was when all people were amazed to see the wonderful animal as they were approaching our cruise and everyone was busy taking pictures.

Here is a simple description about The Humpback Whale:

The humpback whale is a baleen whale and is the fifth largest of the great whales. It can reach an average size of 15 metres and can weigh up to 48 tonnes. Humpback whales are extremely acrobatic whales and perhaps best known for the strange sounds they make under water.

So, it’s the story about the magnificent whales that I have seen that day. I was grateful as I got the opportunity to watch them since before we started the journey, we were reminded that we might not be able to watch them. Luckily, the whales came and they looked like they were waving their flippers as they were welcoming us to their area =)

After the whale watch completed, we stopped at the Tangalooma Resort for the second time for another short period of time while waiting to depart for the return trip to Brisbane. Here are some more pictures that I captured on my way back to Brisbane.

Although it was a tiring journey as we were all fasting, I still had a great time as it was a fantastic journey!
