The sudden urge to blog again.

I miss blogging. I miss pouring out and sharing everything that happened to me here. All this while, what I've been doing are planning the lessons, writing the minute meeting, preparing the exam papers, marking the papers and so on. Everything is about school!

Time flies very fast. I'm no longer being called as Miss Izzaida as I have been married to the man I love 5 months ago ;) Alhamdulillah, married life is okay so far. (this might be because we are staying apart during school days). So we just me once a week and sometimes once in two weeks.

Well, there's so much things that I want to say but I just don't know how to put it into words. I'm so grateful that I've actually been blessed with so many things that I've asked and not asked for since the beginning of the year.

I got a job and being posted in KL, mum and family are still around, a husband who cares so much about me, true friends that still keep in touch, live comfortably with mum and sister, meeting new friends, having new family members and dealing with people with different types of attitudes. But, I still can feel the happiness despite every hard time I've undergone throughout this year.

Well, the list will endlessly go on and on. What can I say is just Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah for all the good things that happened. Yes, I admit that there were times that I felt like I could not go on, when I felt so hopeless and gave up with everything. But, without I realizing it, those hard moments have made me to become slightly stronger and mature than before I think ;) Yet, I still have to learn a lot of things. Learning how to be a good wife to my husband,a good daughter to my mum and a good teacher to my kids at school. All things need a strong determination and courage, but for sure I will try my best. Insyaallah.

p/s: this is my last night at home in kedah. i miss this place very much. yet, need to leave this place and my mum and family again tomorrow :(

Sometimes~

sometimes you just can't arrange everything in words in accordance with what you have in mind...
sometimes you simply couldn't think of how could all the things happened...
sometimes you'll be out of words, out of smiles, out of laughs for no reason...
sometimes life is too precious to be wasted..
sometimes you are blessed with happiness in life...
some other time you are tested with the pain...
sometimes you just can plan and decide this and that in your life...
but everything is determined by Allah.
but everything happened for reasons.

currently patiently waiting for my posting result. i don't want to comment anything about this. Allah knows the best. tawakal and keep praying. it is all that i can do now. may Allah places me to where i want to be. insyaAllah.

Pinjaman dari Allah~

Seisi dunia hanyalah pinjaman semata-mata.

Aku bersyukur. Terima Kasih Ya Allah.

Al-fatihah.

Things don't always go your way~

Things may not always turn out the way you want. Your desires and fancies aren't always satisfied or never will be forever. Today maybe is your lucky day, but perhaps not tomorrow. Only Allah knows the reasons why something that you wished happened or isn't happen. All these abstract things in life could only be understood after you've went through the peak point in life. No pain, no gain.

Thus, after looking back and reflecting on what I've been through so far, I come to realize about this one thing. I can't always get all that I wish for. Thinking of it might make me feel bad but I believe there are lots more ahead, even more challenging ones. Starting from now, slowly try to accept whatever you get and happen to you with open heart. Learn to be more give and take. And always remember that Allah knows the best. I wish and I am trying to be that kind of person too. Insyaallah.

Officially Graduated, Alhamdulillah~

On the 15th of December 2011, I officially ended my chapter as an undergraduate from QUT/IPGKBA and will be beginning a new journey of life as a teacher in primary school. It was the day that I looked forward to since the first day I stepped into tertiary education. It was the day my parents watched with pride and joy as their youngest daughter graduates (i’m sure that my late abah was watching me from there too). It was the day we all put on the honorable robes and mortarboards while sitting with beautiful smiles in neat rows and with the feeling of achievement we made our way up the stage to receive our degree from the Chancellor. It had been a very interesting, enlightening and rewarding experience to return to Brisbane for the graduation day and the piece of completion of course certificate that hereby conferred me my TESL degree. Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful that after 5 years of hardwork, I’m glad that we had all made it and were able to graduate together. Congratulations my dear friends!

To Abah, I’m sure you’ll be the happiest person and must be very proud of me. To Mama, thank very much for all your love, support, doa and for always have faith in me. Without you, I may not be able to achieve this stage. To my sisters, mr.KA, lecturers, family and friends, thanks you very much too. Only Allah can pay back all your good deeds for me. Thank you everyone.

this is especially for you, abah and mama.
the one and only picture, more coming up all the way from Aussie, insyaAllah.

Bahasa Melayu~

“Bahasa Melayu telah mencapai puncak kegemilangan sebagai bahasa tamadun Melayu baharu dengan menjadi bahasa pentadbiran, bahasa diplomasi, bahasa undang-undang, bahasa ilmu dan falsafah, bahasa perdagangan serta bahasa ketatanegaraan”

(Profesor Awang Sariyan, 2008)

Merujuk petikan dia atas, ia membuktikan bahawa Bahasa Melayu sentiasa dimartabatkan.

Insyaallah.

Better driving please~

Just yesterday, I almost hit by a taxi on the fast lane when the taxi driver decided to change lane just because he wanted to pass through the red traffic light. And I often come across the same incident when a car or motorcycle decides to cut in to the fast lane without checking if it is safe to change lane. Not putting up any indicators when wanting to switch lane has been a normal habit to some of Malaysian drivers. They seem to always think that other drivers are able to anticipate their every move and will simply give way when they suddenly cut in. I just hate this situation. When driving, I am the only one who needs to consider about others. Sometimes, their attitude can simply ruin my mood of that particular day.

A lot of campaigns have been organized by the government, thousands of road signs have been made along the roads or highways to advise drivers to be cautious, careful and ensure that they obey the speed limit and practice safe driving. But all those seemed to be useless as there still some drivers who tend to ignore all the signs.

I know, all this will happen again and again. But until when? Why some of them are so selfish by not considering others’ safety on the road?

Please, be considerate about other people too Malaysian drivers. Better driving please.

Sincerity~

"when you give or do something for and to others from your heart without expecting anything in return, you'll feel that your good deeds will "bounce" back to you in amazing and unusual ways".

sincerity is beautiful. why? because when you give because of Allah, you will never ever hope for anything in return. you will never regret if your good deeds are not being paid. you will never feel difficult to help others. because you know that Syurga is already there for you. InsyaAllah.

so, be sincere in everything you do. be sincere in everything you give. sincerity brings happiness and calmness to yourself. it will bring the spirit of joy from your heart if you really feel the sweetness of giving without expecting anything in returns. i believe, nothing could brighten your day than hearing others expressing their most heartfelt gratitude and seeing their smiles from ear to ear.

give freely from your heart, because of Allah, InsyaAllah, the reward will be greater.

She's a grown up girl~

She started school this morning,
She looked very pretty, beautiful and brave girl,
As I walked there beside her,
In her school hall.

And as she took her place beside other children in the class,
I realized how all too fast,
Those few years passed.

Remembering the first time,
I saw her when she was born,
she smiled and laughed at me,
she started to crawl,
she learned to walk,
she started to talk,
she learned to write,
and the list goes on and on....

I must accept that she's no longer a little baby girl,
She's a grown up girl,
She will learn and explore new things,
She will learn what life is all about.

I promise you my girl,
I will always be by your side,
through your ups and downs,
to guide you,
to ensure that you're on the right path,
InsyaaAllah.

Congratulations on your first day of school Inas Al-Bakri!
Semoga Inas menjadi anak yang cemerlang di dunia dan akhirat.
I will always pray for your success Sayang!

Ombak Rindu~

Last Saturday, I went to Pavilion with my family purposely to watch Ombak Rindu. I didn't expect anything from the movie since I haven't read the novel.

Ombak Rindu is about Izzah, a kampung girl who have been sent to Kuala Lumpur by her uncle to become a prostitute and finally was bought by Hariz. She insisted to be his wife and they then got married and finally they fell in love with each other. This movie becomes more complicated with the presence of Mila, Hariz's childhood sweetheart who has had a cruch on Hariz since she was small and that they were supposed to get married!

I think that's enough for the synopsis. If you want to know more, go and grab the novel or watch the movie :)

Well, basically, Maya did a great job being Izzah. I myself couldn't resist myself from crying. I just can't get over Maya's expression throughout the movie, she was really feeling it. Besides, Hariz and Mila's characters were played well too.

This is a two hour movie that makes you appreciate people that you love and care. Somehow, it did give an impact to the audience. The purity of love, the loyalty of a man who willing to change just because of a woman whom he never thought he'd meet and never crossed his mind that he will ever fall too deep in love with her.

Stand up for love, fight for love, cry for love, forgive for love, accept for love, change for love. All were done for love. This movie has made me realize that besides prayers to Him, patience and sacrifices are truly important in love.

Go and watch it. Worth all the tears, as I personally think.

end of a journey~

1st December 2011, served as the last day of me being a teacher trainee. My journey to the 1st December started 5 and half years ago when I decided to join the TESL course in IPBA. It's a long journey. A very long journey with hard work, stressful days, as well as happiness. A journey that has made me more independent when I was far away from my family and tougher to endure hardship. It's also a journey where I met amazing people. People that have taught me the meaning of love and friendship. Yes, indeed, it's such a meaningful journey and I am glad to be part of it. And now, with perseverance, support from family and friends, and blessing from Allah, I finally come to the end of the journey. I know, I will miss this journey. I will miss those people that I have met. I will miss those things that I have done throughout this journey. But one thing for sure, all the wonderful memories of this journey will always be remembered.

Ma'al Hijrah~

We've celebrated the New Year in Islamic. I hope that I'll be able to change from not-so-good to better. It's time to hijrah and move on. With hopes that this new year will bring more happiness in life. I wish for less tears. I pray for health and successfulness. Above all, I wish that everything I do will be blessed by Allah the Almighty.

I believe, everyone wants to change too. To be a better person and being respected by others. So do I. So, let's have new hopes and dreams. Let us change to become good Muslims. Insyaallah, if we always pray to him, everything will be fulfilled. Just believe in Him.

December will, Insyaallah, be a good month. Starts with the SPP interview, weddings lining up in the line, graduation and others. I foresee a hectic yet blissful month. May that be a good ending for 2011. Insyaallah.

May Allah bless us all. Salam Ma'al Hijrah 1433.

p/s: i wish i'll more confident during the interview :(

apple of my eye~

My family and I went to my niece and nephew's kindergarten graduation and annual concert last weekend. I am so proud of them. Inas, for who she has already become now, a brave, soft and pretty 6 years old girl. She walked out onto the stage with confidence to give her speech on behalf of other six years children who will be graduated on that day and she could also dance very well. :) While Izaz, a 5 years old boy, who loves Ultraman and Ben 10 so much, who always eager to "fight" with me, suddenly turned into a sweet charming boy who could dance greatly! Hehehe. I was so happy to see them. Little did I knew, that they have grown up to be a big smart girl and boy. It's amazing right, how fast time flies by and we even don't realize it. No matter what, I always pray and hope that they will be a great and successful person in the future :) Coming back to the concert thingy, I also enjoyed other performances from other classes. The kids were so adorable. They were all beautiful, handsome and very talented, each and every one of them. Well done kids!

ready to go after makeup session with mama do :)

When You Thought I Wasn't Look Good~

When you thought I wasn't look good
You sang one of my favourite song
And I started to sing along too which made me feel better.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You made silly jokes
And that created smiles of my face.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You brought me to a restaurant
And I thought it was good to have some meal to release the not good feeling.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You bought a present for me
And I knew that even it was just a little thing, but it was special.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You said a prayer
And I knew that Allah is that I always can talk to.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You always tell that you love me
And I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn't look good
You cheered me up
And it made me to feel happy too.

Thanks for everything
For all those sweet things you did
When you thought I wasn't look good.

Love,
Jiji.
